The Washington County Community Development Officer is responsible for:
- Enhanced 911 addressing in unincorporated areas of the County as well as our smaller municipalities (Vera, Ramona, Ochelata & Copan).
- Floodplain Management services for unincorporated areas of the County.
- Code Enforcement services in unincorporated areas of the County limited to violations of State Statute.
- Geographic Information Systems development and implementation for the County with an emphasis on working with multi-disciplined agencies to aide in the development and maintenance of a valid graphic interactive map.
- Deputy Director of Emergency Management - Responsible for logistical operations.
